The DoubleNest is an easy first hammock. It is not a sleep system. Add straps that are wide enough, a tarp, and an underquilt before you promise anyone a good night. The fabric is heavy by backpacking standards and fine for car camping.

Who should buy it. People trying hammocks before they invest in a bridge or a full kit.

Best for. Lounging and fair-weather nights

Standout limitation. Gathered-end hammock without an underquilt is cold
