UV purifier

SteriPEN Ultra

Katadyn · Upper mid · About 5 oz

A UV pen that treats a bottle quickly if the water is already clear.

As an Amazon Associate, Trailkit Outdoor earns from qualifying purchases. Full disclosure

UV does not work in chocolate-milk silt. Filter or settle first. Cold drains batteries. It is a good second method and a stressful only method if you forget the cable. Pack the pre-filter.

Who should buy it. Hikers who already filter silt and want a fast second stage.

Best for. Clear water when you want speed and will carry batteries

Standout limitation. Needs clear water and charged cells
