Tougher insulated air pad

Exped Dura 5R

Exped · Upper mid · About 1 lb 12 oz

A thicker-fabric air pad for rocky sites and people who are tired of patches.

As an Amazon Associate, Trailkit Outdoor earns from qualifying purchases. Full disclosure

The Dura is the adult decision if your last pad died on granite. You carry extra ounces to avoid a 2 a.m. repair. It is still an air pad. Bring the repair kit anyway.

Who should buy it. Hikers with a history of punctures.

Best for. Hikers who puncture thinner pads

Standout limitation. Heavier than an XLite
